Background Art - The smelter plant 4
An exterior shot in the environment of the smelter plant.
The first process began with a 3d sketch using Maya, followed by the texture that was added in Photoshop. The background was later created and composited to the shot to create depth in the scene.

Before Cyborg Chicken crossed the road.
Scaling was important and yet it was a challenge for me to get an average height of the vehicles in relation to the concrete barrier, and the height of the chickens in relation to the concrete barrier. Constructive criticism from my classmate (Marcus) as well as reference were studied to determine the average height.
Also I added a fog in the background to get the impression of a smoky atmosphere.

This background was made for the first scene in my short film. The colours scheme was intended to give an impression of a depressed dried out area that is affected from the effects of global warming in the past. Its design represents an epic look of a Caribbean environment.

Cyborg Chicken poster design
Synopsis
A wise old Rooster tells a historical story to his grandson about a mysterious character named Cyborg Chicken that saved the planet from the destruction of global warming. And in saving the planet, Cyborg Chicken rescued his grandson from the hungry Corbeaus before he was born.
This poster design was done for an assignment in Animation Pre - production class. The idea started with several designs and critics from lecturers and students. The poster shows a representation of a small chicken encountering a large Corbeuax in combat, however, the creature shows no fear because of its physical size.
Final Exam
This was done as a final exam where we had to texture and light a scene. There are some shadow errors in this but I haven't figured out how to fix it.
